About our location...

A to Bee is based in the charming Wiltshire town of Corsham, nestled on the southern edge of the Cotswolds and just a few miles from the beautiful Georgian city of Bath. The town and its surrounding villages are popular filming locations and have featured in many productions including Harry Potter, The Remains of the Day, War Horse, Downton Abbey, Pride and Prejudice, and Larkrise to Candleford.  Most recently, Corsham stood-in for the Cornish town of Truro in Poldark.

Corsham is also the site of Burlington, the huge top-secret underground city that was to be the home of Britain’s government and royal family in the case of nuclear war.  Today the site is the headquarters for the UK military’s Global Operations Security Control Centre.

Guyers House Hotel

Our events are held in the four-star Guyer’s House Hotel, a charming, privately owned country house hotel on the outskirts of Corsham.  The renowned hotel restaurant uses home-grown and locally-sourced produce, and has been awarded 2 Rosettes by the AA.

The hotel has 37 en-suite bedrooms, elegant dining and sitting rooms, a panelled bar, and everything else you would expect of an English country house.  Six acres of beautiful garden include croquet lawn, a hard tennis court and a small fitness pavilion, as well as lawns, ponds, orchards, woodland, and several bee hives!

The hotel has purpose-built conference and seminar buildings with garden views, which can accommodate up to 70 delegates.  A dedicated conference supervisor will ensure all aspects of our visit are delivered to an exceptional standard on the day.

A range of traditional outdoor team-building exercises are available at the hotel.

Corsham  is easy to reach, being 8 miles from Bath and 4 miles from Chippenham, both of which are on the Paddington main line.  The town is 6 miles from Juction17 of the M4.

Most of our events take place at Guyer’s House, however, we are happy to travel to you to give talks and presentations.  We can even bring our bees to you – or a local venue – although that takes a little more organisation!
